After a torso was discovered in a dumpster, the son of high-profile former talent agent Samuel Bond Haskell IV is suspected of killing his wife, Mei Haskell.
The son of a former high-powered Hollywood talent agent, Samuel Bond Haskell IV is a suspect in a murder where he allegedly had her party parts in a dumpster in Encino, California, which are believed to belong to his 37-year-old Mei. Haskell’s father, Sam Haskell was a high-profile talent agent and producer who represented celebrities such as George Clooney, Kathie Lee Gifford, Whoopi Goldberg, and Dolly Parton.
Elle Benami, the Haskell’s’ next-door neighbor, told KTLA that she last saw Mei early one week ago while she was taking her children to school.
Days later, a woman’s body was discovered crammed into a duffel bag by a homeless man who was searching through a dumpster a short distance from the Haskell residence.
Authorities claim they have security footage from the dumpster location that points to Mei’s spouse, and they think the body part to be hers.
The hunt for more human remains and the whereabouts of Samuel’s in-laws continues after he was detained on suspicion of murder.
A white Volkswagen Tiguan with the California license plate 9ANC890 and a white Nissan Pathfinder with the California number plate 7FRM190 are the other two SUVs that the police are searching for.
According to the authorities, Mei’s parents were last seen in one of the SUVs. The victim, according to the police, died sometime in the last few days. In the hopes that surveillance footage will provide more insight into the case, investigators are still accepting information.
