Sib Hashian, the original drummer for the band Boston, died today. He was on a cruise and he was on stage drumming when he collapsed and could not be revived. Thomas “Sib” Hashian, the drummer who played on Boston‘s first two bestselling LPs, has died at the age of 67, according to ABC affiliate WCVB. Word of Hashian’s death first arrived from a variety of sources inside the Legends of Rock cruise, which found him playing Boston hits alongside fellow ex-band member Barry Goudreau, part of a roster of performers that included Lou Gramm, former Beach Boy David Marks and ex-Kansas singer John Elefante.
