Sundial Growers (NASDAQ:SNDL) is an expert in the art and science of growing cannabis. The management team includes industry leaders with experience in consumer-packaged goods from Kellogg’s, General Mills, Molson Coors, Conagra Brands and Mars.

Sundial’s worldwide capacity is expected to be approximately 95 million grams by the end of 2020, helping us satisfy increasing global demand and fast-evolving supply chains. That was then, this is now as   Sundial has expanded into the retail cannabis sector.

Inn 2021, Sundial  was up over 400% at and showed a 22% gain at a particular time in the year. With positive quarterly results, two of the last  three periods, Sundial reported positive adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA).

This growth makes it an attractive stock to buy compared to its competitors. Tilray, one of Sundials competitors did post positive recent quarterly numbers. However, its profits showed that sales were down 8% on a quarter-over-quarter basis.

Sundial may be quite volatile due to a very competitive retail pot market. Expenses for the stock are likely to rise. President Joe Biden has not yet moved the needle about legalizing pot.

There’s a lot in this industry to be positive about as you see other players in the market making headways. A study, by the Researchers at the Journal of Natural Products found that two cannabinoid acids commonly found in hemp were identified as having potential to combat the virus as well as treat infections has found that cannabis compounds can help prevent COVID-19 infection. The study cited two compounds have a good safety profile in humans. And we are not talking about smoking it,. The study Cannabinoids Block Cellular Entry of SARS-CoV-2 and the Emerging Variants; Reference- J. Nat. Prod.
