Celebrity British-American television personality, music manager, and author celebrity Sharon Osbourne has been vocal about her support for the actor throughout Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s tumultuous trial. Sharon Osbourne called Depp and Heard’s relationship “extreme” and “very unpleasant.”
When journalist and television presenter, Lorraine Kelly, on a chat show, commented that it must have been terrible for her as a friend to observe and see him go through the trial, Osborne replied that it was “ugly” for the former couple. She stated that nobody knows what goes on between two people — and everyone has ugliness in relationships, but theirs was extreme.’
The TV Star did not take a side, instead called out to both actors, advising them to ‘move on.’ The celebrity earlier expressed her admiration for Johnny by referring to him as a “kind soul” after he won his defamation case against his ex-wife, Amber Heard.
As the high-profile case came to an end on Wednesday, Johnny won the trial and was given more than $10 million, proving his claim that Amber made up allegations of abuse by the celebrity before and during their brief marriage. The former X Factor judge went on to describe Johnny as a ‘gentle soul’ and a ‘good human being’ as she detailed one off-camera occasion that she believed proved his good character. She also stated that the couple’s relationship was ‘toxic,’ and that Amber ‘intended to ruin’ Johnny.
According to her, the entire world wanted Johnny to win, and now he has. Heard could have backed away in some way, she could have gotten to him, and there might have been something she could have done to keep it going. The celebrity does not believe Amber will be able to make a comeback in her own acting career, despite the fact that a petition calling for DC Warner Bros to drop Amber from Aquaman 2 received 4.2 million signatures.
