Following “a political debate,” North Dakotan Shannon Brandt, 41, allegedly admitted to killing Cayler Ellingson, 18, by punching her. Shannon Brandt, 41, the driver accused of running into Ellingson in an alley, is charged in Foster County with vehicular murder and fleeing the scene of a fatal accident.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Brandt told investigators he left the area after striking Ellingson, came back for a short while, called 911, and then departed once more.
In the court record, Brandt admitted to drinking before hitting Ellingson and claimed he believed the adolescent was calling individuals to attack him as a result of their argument and that he felt intimidated. Ellingson was taken by ambulance to a Carrington hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Brandt informed the police that he believed Ellington belonged to an “extreme Republican group.”
In the face of Republican outcry, he was spotted being freed from prison on bond. GOP indignation at Biden’s vitriol against his opponents was headed by Paul. The North Dakota Highway Patrol issued a statement. On September 18th, 2022, a street dance was occurring in the city of McHenry located in Foster County. At approximately 2:55 AM a Ford explorer struck a pedestrian walking on Jones Street directly east of Hohneck street in the city of McHenry. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Carrington hospital by ambulance. The pedestrian later died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. The North Dakota Highway Patrol, and the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal investigations are investigating the circumstances and events that led up to the death of the pedestrian.
