Sandra Lee, celebrity chef and former girlfriend of Andrew Cuomo, former governor of New York was spotted on Thursday in the streets of New York City. She was seen in the Big Apple for the first time in months. She posted selfies of her admiring the Upper East side museum’s Temple of Dendur. The original Temple was built in Egypt in 10 BC. It has been reconstructed.
The 55-year old star of Food Network posted selfies wearing a glamorous low cut golden gown that she wore to attend a gala at the Met. She attended the 60th Anniversary of the White House Historical Association Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The gala was held to celebrate the support of educational projects by the White House.
Lee posted several photos of her night out in town. According to a report in the Daily Mail, she wore a bejeweled Bob Macki couture dress. She matched it with a Christian Dior Ruby & Art Glass necklace. She carried an Oscar De La Renta clutch.
Lee had moved to Malibu, California from New York City after she split with Cuomo in 2019. They had a 14-year old relationship which ended after the then governor allegedly cheated on her.
She posted pictures of the decked up installations including an ancient Egyptian temple display. On her Instagram account, she posted that she had an “amazing night”. She described the event and its decor as “fun and elegant.”
Although she returned to New York City minus her boyfriend/fiancé Ben Youcef, she was wearing an enormously ring he gave her. According to Page Six, she wore the ring on her right hand instead of the traditional left where most people wear engagement rings. Sources told the outlet that the couple were very much together, despite his absence.
Meanwhile, her ex-boyfriend, Andrew Cuomo, who had a sex crime charge has gained reprieve as his arraignment has been delayed till January 7, 2021, to give District Attorney David Soares “time to continue with” their independent and unbiased review of facts”, according to the Mail.
