The talk-show host, who joined the ABC morning program as a cohost in 2017, announced on Thursday’s live edition that he will leave. When the program changes its name to Live with Kelly and Mark, Kelly Ripa’s husband and frequent Live stand-in Mark Consuelos will take his spot permanently.
“Live with Kelly and Ryan” is the top syndicated talk show on average for the 2022—2023 season according to all relevant Nielsen metrics.
The program’s new name will be “Live with Kelly and Mark.” Over the years, Mr. Consuelos has served as a guest host on the program, where he and Ms. Ripa frequently discussed their children.
