Camilla has led a supportive family role and now the Royal Family has shared a series of photos of her as well as detailed highlights in her life and the works that she undertaken or continues to do.
The Royal Family Instagram account has shared 17 photos of Queen Consort Camilla. It gives glimpses of both her personal life and professional charities and more. The slideshow mentions biographical details from her birth up to her becoming Queen Consort.
The first photo shows Camilla and the words ‘the Queen Consort” are written on it. The second photo shows Camilla with King Charles III and mentions her support to the British monarch as he carries out the duties expected from him.
The other photos in the slideshow have details about her birth on July 17, 1947, in King’s College Hospital, in London. It mentions her family members. It also mentions her education and early life.
The slideshow also has a picture of Camilla’s wedding to Prince Charles with family members on both sides. According to the royal family on Instagram the then Prince of Wales married Camilla Parker-Bowles on April 9, 2005, in a civil ceremony that took place at the Guildhall, Windsor.
The other images and accompanying text mention that she is either a patron or president of about 90 charities including the Royal Osteoporosis Society, working with domestic violence and sexual abuse survivors, the Elephant Family Charity and the Battersea Dogs and Cats home in London, from where Camilla adopted two Jack Russell terriers.
