On Sunday, King Charles was joined by his family members for their traditional Easter service. In his first service as King, after the death of his beloved mother and late Queen Elizabeth II, Charles was joined by wife Camilla, son Prince William with his entire family, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and other members of the royal family. The Easter Mattins Service was held at the St. George’s Chapel is located at Windsor, in Berkshire, England.
This festive occasion is also the 18th wedding anniversary of King Charles and his wife Camilla. They got married in 2005 in Windsor. It is also a poignant easter since it is the first one since the death of the beloved Queen and the second anniversary of the death of her husband Prince Phillip. Both of them are buried side by side in King George VI chapel, located in Windsor.

Easter 2023 has also been the first easter for Prince Louis, who is four years old. In 2022, Prince George and Prince Charlotte attended the traditional walk along with their parents. Prince Louis held his mother’s hand this year as they walked to the chapel.
The William family wore outfits in different shades of blue. Prince William wore a deep blue suit and so did their elder son and younger son Prince George and Prince Louis while the Princess of Wales Catherine (Kate Middleton) and daughter Princess Charlotte also wore blue outfits.
Prince Edward also wore a dark suit but other members including nieces, nephews and grandchildren wore bright outfits in pink, purple and other colors.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla were also dressed in dark blue as they led the traditional walk to St. George’s chapel on a pleasant spring day. Queen Camilla left before her husband and was photographed with a posy of flowers, while the King left a little later and was greeted by cheers and applause from his subjects.
