Rockets-Hawks game postponed due to icy conditions in Atlanta

Severe weather and hazardous icy conditions in the Atlanta area forced the postponement of the game scheduled for Saturday afternoon between the host Hawks and Houston Rockets.

The NBA announced the postponement and said the game would be rescheduled for a date to be announced later.

“Stay safe, ATL,” both teams wrote on X.

The Hawks are returning from a six-game road trip that saw them go 2-4. The Western Conference swing concluded with Thursday’s 123-115 loss at the Phoenix Suns.

The Rockets recorded their third win in a row following Thursday’s 119-115 road victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
