Road Rage accused California couple-Marcus Eriz and Wynne Lee who fatally shot 6-year-old boy arrested

On Sunday night, a California couple was arrested for the fatal shooting of a six-year-old boy. The young kid was riding with his mother who got into a slight altercation with a couple in another car. In a fit of road rage, the couple shot at the back of the other car and fatally wounded the kid sitting behind on the 55 Freeway in Orange, according to reports by the California Highway Patrol.

According to the authorities, 24-year-old Marcus Anthony Eriz and 23-year-old Wayne Lee were arrested at their Costa Mesa home after they had returned from a restaurant. They will be charged with murder and are on a $1 million bail.

There is a news conference that is scheduled for Monday afternoon and further details could be released. Orange County records indicate that the couple would face a court hearing on Tuesday.

A day earlier, the family held a memorial service for the young kid who was remembered lovingly by family. Although the funeral was a private ceremony at Calvary Chapel Yorba Linda, the event was live streamed for the public.

Investigators said that the sweet little kid was struck by a bullet in his abdomen. He was on the way to kindergarten and riding with his mother. He was in a booster seat at the back. A bullet pierced the trunk of the car and hit Aiden who said “Ow” according to his mother, at an earlier news conference.

Joanna Cloonan, his mother said that she had been merging way from the carpool lane when she heard a loud noise. She realized that he had been shot. Unfortunately, the poor boy succumbed to his wound.

California Highway Authority had released a photo of a white Volkswagen Golf Sportwagon,   a 2018 or 2019 model which they believed was the car that the couple drove in the fatal shooting.

After a long wait, the couple who carelessly and senselessly shot a young child, will face   murder charges. Nothing can bring back the sweet and innocent little boy who lost his life, in a sad incident.
