Lisa Vanderpump who is known for her role in the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) and Vanderpump Rules, has been hospitalized, according to a report from TMZ. The reality star was thrown off a horse, when she went riding on Sunday and had broken bones.
According to the outlet, Lisa Vanderpump was riding her horse at The Paddock in Los Angeles. Her horse got spooked, for reasons unknown and bucked her off. An eyewitness told TMZ that the reality star flew over the head of the horse and landed on her back.
The RHOBH alum was taken in an ambulance to the hospital and her husband followed her. She is expected to undergo surgery. The source also said that she should be fine, after the healing process is over.
The Vanderpump Rules star has apparently broken her leg in two places. When stars are told to “break a leg” before a theater performance, it is an idiomatic way of wishing actors and musicians good luck. Unfortunately this British star seems to have literally broken her leg as well as bones.

The RHOBH is no stranger to horses or riding. She has been riding this particular horse from six years. So, the accident came as a surprise. She also owns several restaurants in the West Hollywood area including Sur, TomTom and Pump.
A few months ago, a Pump staff and other employees were angry with the Vanderpumper as she had appeared on a call with the West Hollywood City Council. She had reportedly spoken against raising the minimum wage to $17.64. Some fans were also disappointed at her stance and called her out on social media.
Lisa Vanderpump explained her position on Twitter with a statement where she said she was against the timing of the raise and wanted to wait till the time came when restaurants would get back “on their feet” after the pandemic. She also spoke of different classes of employees making different wages and that should be considered.
Lisa Vanderpump continues to appear on Vanderpump Rules. She has not as yet posted anything about her injury or her recovery.
