The Denver Nuggets are trading forward JaMychal Green to the Oklahoma City Thunder, ESPN reported Monday.
The Nuggets are also sending a protected 2027 first-round pick to the Thunder in exchange for the No. 30 pick in this month’s draft and two future second-round picks.
Green, who turns 32 on June 21, averaged 6.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in 67 games (eight starts) for Denver in 2021-22.
He owns career averages of 7.9 points and 5.7 rebounds in 487 games (165 starts) with the San Antonio Spurs, Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Clippers and Nuggets.
Green is expected to exercise his $8.2 million contract for the 2022-23 season, according to ESPN. The move gives the Nuggets financial flexibility this offseason, while the Thunder have the cap space to absorb Green’s deal.
