Denver Nuggets star center Nikola Jokic is unlikely to play Friday against the host Los Angeles Clippers, ESPN reported.
The two-time reigning Most Valuable Player is dealing with a nagging injury to his right wrist.
The team listed the center as questionable in Thursday’s injury report.
Jokic, 27, originally sustained the injury during an Oct. 3 preseason game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He is averaging 24.9 points, 11.0 rebounds and 9.7 assists, leading Denver in all three categories through 38 starts.
