Rep. Lauren Boebert’s 18-year-old son was arrested in Colorado on Tuesday. The oldest son of the Republican representative from the 3rd district had been arrested before and had entered a plea deal. This time, however, he faces 22 criminal, including five felonies. The Rifle Police Department posted the charges that Tyler Jay Boebert faces on social media and photos of the young man.
The Rifle Police Department mentioned that Tyler Jay Boebert was arrested on February 27, 2024. According to the post by the Rifle Police Department, the teen “is facing the following charges: Four felony counts of Criminal Possession ID Documents-Multiple Victims, one felony count of Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, and over 15 additional misdemeanor and petty offenses.”
Many web fans responded that Lauren Boebert should take responsibility for her son’s crimes. Some fans thanked the Rifle Police Department for the post on social media as he had family connections. Others commented that it was karma and more, and one sarcastically said she “represents the party of family values.”
A few fans expressed sympathy for the young man and said his family environment was why he was in trouble, but others said he was an adult.
The Boebert family has been surrounded by drama through the years. Last June, a representative from Colorado confirmed that her son Tyler and his girlfriend had given birth to their first son. Lauren Boebert became a grandmother at the age of 36. She was also a teen parent.
A video allegedly showed Laured Boebert being massaged by her date when she was at a theater watching a movie that was child-friendly. She was also reportedly caught vaping on video.
Other drama in the Boebert family includes a recent restraining order against Jayson Boebert. Her ex-husband was arrested on assault charges and released on bail. He has restraining orders against visiting Boebert and their three younger children. Tyler was not included in the protective order as he was an adult.
Lauren Boebert recently announced that she would seek election from a new seat in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District.
