Neal Sean, a royal correspondent has recently discussed the Christmas celebrations of the royal family on his YouTube channel. He said that Queen Elizabeth II is expected to be in her Norfolk estate called Sandringham. According to him, many members of the royal family members will join her. Prince Harry, Megan Markle and family should get a gift package.
The royal expert believes that the Queen will put in effort to include the Duke and Duchess of Sussex who live in California in the Christmas celebrations. He claimed that there would be some gifts but it would be “formal.”
He added that the Queen was “far too gracious” and not childish and would include them in the gift package. He believed that the gift opening would happen “at a distance” and not over a social media call. Last year the Queen had sent Archie a waffle maker for Christmas, according to a revelation by Prince Harry.
This will the first Christmas to be celebrated after the passing of Prince Philip. In 2020, Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip had spent a quiet Christmas in Windsor. The celebrations were muted and low key due to the pandemic. This year, the Queen is expected to host her family at her Sandringham estate.
The family who are excepted to join her include Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Parker Bowles. Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three children–Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are also expected to attend.
Prince Harry, his wife Meghan Markle and children Archie and Lilibet are not expected to attend as they live in Montecito, California, after withdrawing from royal duties. Princess Anne, the Queen’s daughter and her family are also expected to take part in the Christmas celebrations.
Although the Queen’s Christmas celebrations and the list of royals is not as yet confirmed, fans of the royal family will be eagerly awaiting their arrival. They look forward to seeing the royal family during the annual Christmas Day walk. This will be Prince Louis’ first Christmas day walk.
