Ohio State Highway Patrol has released police body cam video after the arrest of four Chilean men, earlier this month. These men are reportedly connected with multiple burglaries at multimillion-dollar homes, and items related to the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow have also been recovered. The NFL player’s home had been burglarized last December.
On January 10, a trooper stopped four men traveling in a car on the I-70 in Clark County for an improper lane change. He asked the driver for registration papers as well as identification papers from all the travelers. The driver did not have a valid driver’s license.
The trooper became suspicious for several reasons, as seen in the video. The passenger in the front seat was wearing a Bengals cap and an LSU T-shirt was also found. The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback studied at LSU and this suggests that these burglars were part of the gang that robbed his house.

The troopers also found several tools including window punchers and other items. According to the police, these tools are used by South American gangs to break glass and enter homes.
Four men from Chile: Jordan Francisco Sanchez, Alexander Esteban Huaiquil-Chavez, Bastian Alejandro Morales, and Sergio Andres Cabello were arrested and booked into Clark County jail. They face charges including engaging in corrupt activity, as well as participating in a criminal gang, and possessing a criminal tool.

Clark County Sheriff’s Office released an affidavit that said these men were arrested in a federal investigation that was probing burglaries committed by South American crime groups across the nation. Many of the homes that were targeted belonged to celebrity athletes.
The affidavit said that four men from Chile had either entered the US illegally or had “overstayed their permissions.” The affidavit also said that investigators across the US had “arrested at least six different South American burglary groups, five of which were Chilean nationals.”
Celebrity athletes, who faced burglaries in their homes these past months, also include the following: Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce as well as Bobby Portis Jr., Karl-Anthony Towns, and Mike Conley Jr. from the NBA.
