Several jokes seem to have been made about Prince Harry because of his candid memoir anecdotes. With a new billboard that read “Silence is golden” and featured a ball gag in reference to the Duke of Sussex disclosing intimate details in his new memoir “Spare,” a British sex-toy company took a shot at Prince Harry on Saturday. It is interesting to note that the pre-orders for the royal’s book were enough to propel it to the top of the charts before it even went on sale.
In the days following the prince’s numerous interviews in support of his memoir, Spare, which was released on January 10th, Lovehoney, a top sexual wellness company in the U.K., debuted its new advertisement with the slogan “Silence is golden, Harry,” which features a ball gag.
People all over the world are enjoying Prince Harry’s honest memoir, especially after the 38-year-old has made numerous TV appearances and has even been seen taking shots live on television! In the book, the prince related several personal anecdotes, such as how he lost his virginity at the age of 17 in a field behind a bar and how, after a 2011 expedition to the North Pole, he suffered frostbite to his penis.

The sex toy advertisement made a reference to the title of the memoir by directing readers to their website, with a caption: “Spare ball gags available.” The head of Lovehoney’s sexual empowerment department, Johanna Rief, told Newsweek that although the company had a long history of supporting the prince, his most recent revelations had “gone a bit too far.”
According to Rief, the billboard has been put up online and in the Clapham Common neighborhood of London In an effort to make people “smile.” She said that there were several negative stories circulating that they wanted to make “a light-hearted, Lovehoney-esque response to the memoir.” According to her, if they have made even one person laugh, they have succeeded.
In Spare, Prince Harry disclosed that he used an Elizabeth Arden lip cream Princess Diana favored as one of his at-home remedies for treating his frostbite.
