The Prince and Princess of Wales recently visited Boston for the Earthshot Prize. While in the coastal city, the royal couple remembered to honor their grandmother Queen Elizabeth II who had visited the city, several decades ago. Prince William and Princess Catherine (Kate Middleton) had a packed schedule that included watching local team Boston Celtics. Prince William also had an outdoor meeting with President Joe Biden, before the awards ceremony, on Friday evening.
In their first visit abroad, about three months after the demise of the Queen, Prince William said that both of them were delighted to visit the United States, once again and expressed their gratitude to the Governor and First Lady of Massachusetts for welcoming them warmly to the state.

The Prince of Wales said, “My grandmother was one of life’s optimists. And so am I. That is why last year we launched the Earthshot Prize with the ambition to create a truly global platform to inspire hope and urgent optimism as we look to save the future of our planet.”
