Prince Albert of Monaco, who is quite reticent about his personal life, recently opened up and noted that he was “really proud” of his wife Princess Charlene. The 64-year old Prince–Albert has been married to 44-year old Prince Charlene, since 11 years. They have twins called Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, who are eight years old.
Prince Albert told PEOPLE that he was “really proud of his wife Charlene” as she has been doing well and has been participating in different events. He said that she was increasing her engagement “in public life” and was taking care of things that she was “passionate about.”
The Prince of Monaco also said that the Princess had visited the Red Cross as well as people in their homes. He mentioned that she had enjoyed doing these things and had also got their children involved in these activities.
He emphasized that the year had ended on a “very high note” for them and they were “thrilled about how things are.”
Princess Charlene spent most of year 2021 in South Africa. She was said to have suffered from a severe ear, nose and throat infection. There were a lot of rumors about her prolonged absence. However, she returned to Monaco some time before early 2022, following which she began her royal duties. Fans are super excited for the royal family.
