An invitation was sent to Biden’s supporters informing them that he would address the topic of abortion rights at Hillsborough Community College’s Dale Mabry campus in Tampa. According to the invitation, guests are requested to show up between noon and 2 p.m.
During a Monday afternoon press conference, the Biden campaign highlighted Biden’s intentions to invest in Florida, in anticipation of his rematch with the Republican nominee for president, Donald Trump, in November.
The Biden-Harris team has the financial wherewithal to “invest in many paths to victory, and that includes Florida,” according to Michael Tyler, a spokesman for Biden, on the call.
Those working for President Joe Biden are making the most of the situation in Florida to bring up abortion on a national level. Tyler commented on the call that the entire southeast will be affected by the impending six-week abortion ban.
