President Joe Biden announced on Sunday that he has dropped out of the presidential race to be held this November. He said he would complete his term in the White House but would no longer be the Democratic candidate for the White House in 2024.

The Democrats are expected to choose a new nominee in August, and Vice President Kamala Harris remains at the forefront. He has endorsed his Vice President.

President Joe Biden posted on a social media platform, “It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. And while I have intended to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.”

President Joe Biden has been recuperating in Delaware as he recovers from a mild Covid attack. He has been a man of honor and principles and decided to do what is best for the party and the country.

A new presidential nominee has not yet been named and could be formally announced at the Democratic convention in August in Chicago. As of now, President Joe Biden has publicly endorsed his Vice President Kamala Harris, and the formal announcement of the Democrats’ presidential candidate will be made as soon as possible.
