Celebrity Rakim Mayers, famously known as A$AP Rocky, was held and detained at LAX- Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday about a November 2021 shooting, the authorities have reported. Alan Jackson, A$AP’s attorney has confirmed he was arrested.
The Los Angeles Police Department LAPD was investigating Mayers about a shooting that occurred in Los Angeles near Selma and Vista Del Mar streets in the West Hollywood area at about 10 PM. Mayers told police two other people came up to him with a shotgun. One of the people that approached Mayers said Mayers did shoot him up to four times and was grazed by one of the bullets as the victim stated in the police report.
A$AP Rocky was previously charged with attempted murder at age 16 after a bully attempted to bully him when he was a drug dealer in his hometown of New York. “He tried to come at me in front of some ladies. And I was little. He was a little bit older than me,” Rocky recalled during an October 2019 appearance on Angie Martinez‘s series ” The Untold Stories of Hip Hop”
