On Sunday, a passenger allegedly assaulted an airline employee with an intercom phone after being asked to disembark from a Frontier Airlines flight at Denver International Airport. Frontier Airlines stated that the passenger, identified as Shuri Turner by Denver police, had displayed belligerent behavior on board the Tampa-bound Flight 708, prompting the request for her to deplane. During her exit, she reportedly picked up an intercom phone and struck a flight attendant with it.
Law enforcement in Denver arrested the woman, and the flight eventually departed for Tampa, albeit nearly four hours behind schedule. The specific incident leading to the initial request for the passenger to leave the plane remains unclear. Unfortunately, Denver International Airport stated that it did not possess information about the specific flight.
