The New Orleans Pelicans and forward Larry Nance Jr. are in agreement on a two-year, $21.6 million extension, his agent told ESPN on Saturday.
The deal confirmed by Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports ties Nance to New Orleans for $31.3 million over the next three seasons.
Nance, 29, joined New Orleans in a Feb. 8 trade that also brought CJ McCollum to the Pelicans from the Portland Trail Blazers.
He averaged 7.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 46 games (11 starts) last season with the Trail Blazers and Pelicans.
Nance owns career averages of 8.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 steals in 396 games (134 starts) with the Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Blazers and Pelicans. The Lakers drafted him in the first round in 2015.
