Patrick Mahomes senior, or Pat Mahomes as he is generally called, recently said that he preferred not to be part of the attention that celebrity Taylor Swift and Jason Kelce are expected to get at the game when the Kansas City Chiefs meet the Baltimore Ravens this weekend in Baltimore. He said he didn’t want to sit with them and watch the game.
The AFC championships will be held on Sunday afternoon, and Pat Mahomes Sr. is expected to attend the game to cheer his son Patrick Mahomes, the celebrity quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs. Pat Mahomes was asked if he would sit beside Taylor Swift, the girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and he joked, “I hope not.”
A retired baseball player, Pat Mahomes, appeared in an interview on the Evan & Tiki show on WFAN Sports Radio. He explained further, “No, I don’t think so. Travis normally has his own thing, and Patrick has his deal, too….If Taylor wants her suite, I imagine she has enough money to get whichever she wants.”
In the same interview, he also said that he had met the Midnights singer and that Taylor Swift was “very nice and genuine and everything.” He has described her as “actually very down to earth.”
Pat Mahomes said Taylor had been very gracious when he first met her in Brittany’s suite. The pop singer had taken photos with his wife and daughter. Taylor Swift is also friends with Brittany, the wife of QB Patrick Mahomes, and hangs out with them with her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Sunday’s game at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore is crucial as it will decide which team will enter the Super Bowl final on February 11 in Las Vegas. Jason and Kylie Kelce have confirmed that they will be watching the game, and so has Pat Mahomes. Celebrity Taylor Swift has not confirmed her attendance as yet. She has made it a point to attend as many games as possible of her NFL boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
