“Pain Hustlers” is now streaming on Netflix and offers viewers a captivating exploration of the pharmaceutical startup industry and opioid racketeering. The film, directed by David Yates and adapted from Evan Hughes’ book, follows a lady dealing with dire situations.

This fictional story is based on the New York Times article and accompanying non-fiction book by Evan Hughes, portraying American greed on an enormous scope.

The narrative progresses by introducing the protagonist, Eliza Drake, played by Emily Blunt, a woman facing financial difficulties and trying to support her daughter after losing her job.
