And It wouldn’t be the 1st time governments have used a tragedy to strip away freedoms. If they use this event to regulate Facebook and the http:, html5 “normal” internet and claim it’s for our own safety so they can catch terrorists, they are lying, plain and simple.

Today a 33-year-old Australian tourist has been killed following a fight outside a San Francisco hotel in the early hours of Friday morning, authorities have said. Matthew Bate, from Darwin, was allegedly ‘coward punched’ outside of the Da Vinci Villa Hotel after a verbal argument with at least two other people turned physical. Mr. Bate was still alive when the police arrived around 2.15am but was suffering from critical injuries.

Bill Maher SHOULD understand that slavery is something that should never be joked about. No one would joke about the Holocaust. Also, it burns even deeper for black people when we realize the long arm of slavery is still writing the narrative for black people in America today. Slaves were not brought to America out of love, and a sense slavery there has not been one point in time where black people have been respected and loved as a whole in America. The pains of slavery runs too deep to brush off with a failed attempt at humor, and the truth is unless you have been a victim of racism you can never truly understand what racism is or the effects of it.

Ray Rice was a pillar of the Ravens and the Baltimore community. He frequently appeared at charity events and he spoke out a lot against cyberbullying. What he did to his wife that night was horrible. But he acknowledged it, went through treatment, stayed with his wife and sought out therapy, and I truly believe it was a one-time drunken mistake.
Additionally, anyone who judges Ray Rice needs to check their racial biases and celebrity bias. Frat boys in college do far worse things and yet society and courts explain away their behavior as ‘indiscretions’. Ray Rice has atoned and paid for his one bad incident, and he is well deserving of our second chance.

Dear Walmart Employees, Nobody is stopping you from shopping your formidable skillset out to other employers. If you believe you’re worth more than Walmart is paying you, then go out and get it.
What WalMart does is good for America, it provides jobs for the most people with the least skill-set and allows people the opportunity to get better jobs, either through further education or staying with company and getting promotions. It also lowers the cost of living and it keeps the market competitive.
Walmart employs 1% of the U.S population 1.4 million people. They’ve got some good paying jobs like that DC in Mebane. Everybody there makes at least $30,000+ a year but you can’t really expect to make a living being a cashier at Walmart. You’re gonna have to keep moving up.
