Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch sat during the national anthem over the weekend, ahead of a Saturday preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals, the AP reports. I dont see how sitting during the national anthem is a strong statement. Our flag and anthem stand for the ideals of fighting oppression and equality for all under the law. Those ideals are good.
Lynch did not speak to reporters after the game and has not explained why he sat.

Venture capital firm Benchmark Capital is suing former Uber Chief Executive Officer Travis Kalanick to force him off the board of the ride-services company and rescind his ability to fill three board seats, according to the lawsuit.
Benchmark Capital and Travis Kalanick just went balistic, with the venture capital firm suing the former Uber CEO for fraud, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty.
Per the complaint, Kalanick currently holds around a 10% equity stake in Uber, which most recently was valued at around $70 billion. Benchmark holds approximately 13 percent.

Facebook officially confirmed the impending launch of Watch on Wednesday afternoon. The company didn’t specify a date for the launch but said that it would happen “soon.”
