Today the Far-right candidate Marine Le Pen sought on Tuesday to turn the debate nasty in the final week of France’s presidential election to immigration as she looked to reverse a dip in polls.
Marine Le Pen gave a hard line speech blasting mass immigration in front of a frenzied crowd of supporters in Paris on Monday night. The far right candidate said the French were no longer at home in France.
She also took aim at the burkini (“an Islamist provocation”), promised to cap the number of legal immigrants in France at 10,000 a year, and said the Paris and Nice terror attacks wouldn’t have happened if she were president.
She added: “Mass immigration is not an opportunity for France, it’s a tragedy for France.
But we have to remember that France has a dark history of colonialization so is hard for somebody like Le Pen to speak about immigration.

This month the Bangkok authorities cracked down on street food and plan to remove it by the end of 2017. It sounds to me, rich big business types want to have influence that only serves their short term financial gain. Big business related corruption has been an ongoing challenge for the Thai economy for a very long time.
Bangkok is one of the great street food destinations in part because of its street food.
They’ll say it’s for health, but I bet a large part of the push is from protectionists. If McDonald’s is going to open in Bangkok, they don’t want anybody selling chicken wings on the street out front.
This is slowly happening in Mexico City, and also in China.

Former President Barack Obama issued a statement calling him a “great friend” and a “championship-caliber good man,” who was well-loved by Pittsburghers for both his Super Bowl championships and his generosity of spirit.
Mr. Rooney’s life will be celebrated at a Mass of Christian Burial on April 18, at 11 a.m. at Saint Paul Cathedral, 108 North Dithridge Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
Amongst his friends, President Obama and Vice President Biden will be on hand as they lay Mr. Rooney to rest.

Interstate 20 West buckles Monday morning affecting Atlanta drivers with an additional travel inconvenience this year. The mishap is believed to be from a gas leak. Underground GAS leak cause Interstate-20 to buckle. A portion of
I-85 collapsed not long ago. Now today 1-20 crumbled. What’s next? Atlanta is in trouble and needs new leadership. Gas pipes not being inspected properly. Inadequate catch basins and storm drains on city streets and state roads. This all points to gross negligence.
Atlanta’s highways are all reaching the end of their shelf life it seems.

Tomi Lahren is fighting a battle she probably will not win. She’s still being paid by Glenn Beck. She’s suing him now because she says she’s been locked out of her personal Facebook account and is banned from entering her office. Lahren needs to remember how heartless and cruel she was when she spoke of those with whom she has disagreed in the past. I think the old adage, “What goes around,comes around” applies to her current situation.
TheBlaze is a corporation, privately held, and not a branch of any government agency of any lever: Federal, State, county or Municipal; therefore the 1st Amendment does not apply to here and she has not been “fired;” just removed from airing her hour-long program while still being paid. The 1st Amendment right to free speech because the right to free speech relates to the government prohibiting citizens the right to speak on any subject. Beck’s company is not a government entity.
