According to the South China Morning Post a 45 meter long ascending elevator suddenly became a descending one, sending shoppers crashing to the floor. The ‘Xpresscalator’ was carrying about 100 shoppers at the time.
“I heard people screaming … the escalator was going down but the speed accelerated,” the woman, who identified herself as Tina, told the South China Morning Post.
Eijinsite reports that police say the accident was caused by a broken chain and brake malfunction. The escalators had passed an inspection the prior Thursday, according to the mall.
The pair, who work for Otis Elevator Company, were alleged to have moved some parts of the elevator after the incident, which has resulted in them being charged with “perverting the course of justice”.

Amber Rudd Whatsapp encryption – CWEB.com
Amber Rudd has engaged in another attack on people’s security by suggesting that companies must be able to ‘remove’ encryption.
In one hand the British Government says that they need to make WhatsApp accessible because the terrorist suspect used it right before the attack. Then you say in the same interview that he worked alone despite claims from ISIS that he worked with them.
So which one is it?
Also why did not the MI5 and MI6 prevent this terror attack? The criminal Khlaid Masood had many video posting on the internet making criminal allegations which was not even encrypted!
Look this is an excuse to force personal encryption services to once again allow the UK Government unfettered access to personal communications.
Lastly is seems very weird that the British Government doesn’t want to look into the server’s of Julian Asagne and see how does he get his information that he uses against the U.S. Government!

Springfield Illinois Marijuana – CWEB.com
Today marijuana advocates are trying to lay the groundwork for Illinois to become the first state in the Midwest and the ninth nationwide to legalize recreational pot, arguing the move will help solve the state’s notorious budget crisis.
Two Illinois state lawmakers introduced legislation last week that would allow residents 21 and older to possess, grow or buy up to an ounce (28 grams) of marijuana and license businesses to sell marijuana products subject to regulation. They say it would help fill Illinois’ multibillion-dollar budget hole with $400 to $800 million in new tax revenue.
