Belarus authorities detained and beaten hundreds of people on Saturday during an attempt to hold a street protest in the capital Minsk, amid rising public anger over falling living standards and an unpopular tax on the unemployed. Police in Belarus have arrested hundreds of people during protests against a so-called “social parasites” tax on the under-employed.
Thousands defied a ban to protest, taking to the streets of Minsk and other cities. Demonstrators shouted “Fascists!” at riot police.
There have been weeks of sporadic protests against a $230 ( £185) levy on those unemployed for six months.
President Dictator and criminal Alexander Lukashenko insists the tax will not be scrapped.

A person who police say shot two people, killing one, today on a bus in Las Vegas surrendered without incident after a standoff that lasted more than five hours. The incident is not related to terrorism local police authority reported. There also is no evidence that the incident is connected to a robbery early in the Bellagio. The Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas is on lockdown following reports of an armed criminals wearing a pig mask storming a Rolex store and started “firing shots”. Police said in a statement that a preliminary investigation suggests that at least three people entered the store and one of them fired gunshots. Glad everyone is safe.

Tillman Freeman was arrested and charged with two counts of child abuse and two counts of child endangerment on Friday, before the girls’ bodies were found, according to the Fayetteville Police Department. Police said he refused to provide any information on the whereabouts of his children.
After the girls were found, authorities said Tillman was arrested and charged with two counts of first degree murder. Hoke County Detectives are on the scene off Army Rd. Investigating the brutal murder oder two little girls reported missing yesterday in Fayetteville. The children were located about 200 yards in the woods stabbed to death. Detectives have arrested 30 year old Tillman Freeman for 2 counts of First Degree Murder.

Social media giant Facebook will begin testing a GIF button that will allow users post GIFs from services like Giphy and Tenor as comments. Facebook testing‘reaction #GIFs’. These typically use a clip of a movie, television show, or cartoon to express the emotion of the user, from excitement to concern. “Everyone loves a good GIF and we know that people want to be able to use them in comments. So we’re about to start testing the ability to add GIFs to comments and we’ll share more when we can, but for now we repeat that this is just a test.”

UKIP Leader Paul Nuttall writes, “As you will know, Douglas Carswell has announced today that he is resigning from UKIP, to sit as an independent MP. He has said that he is doing this “cheerfully and amicably”.
“This is not a surprise. I was elected on a pledge to forge unity in the party, and have had many discussions with key players to try and make that happen, but it had become increasingly clear to me that some things were simply beyond reach.
“Douglas was genuinely committed to Brexit, but was never a comfortable Ukipper. On Monday, he had been due to meet with the National Executive Committee to answer various questions relating to longstanding issues, including published allegations that he had joined us in order to try to minimize Nigel Farage’s involvement in the Referendum.
“Douglas’s defection to UKIP in 2014, along with Mark Reckless, and the two by-elections we fought successfully for them, proved that UKIP was capable of getting members elected to Parliament — albeit, it was still a tough task (as I know only too well, personally).
“Our party has not benefited financially or organizing from having Douglas in Westminster. With this in mind, his departure will make no difference to my ability or focus on delivering the reforms I promised when elected as Leader.

No person should ever be fired without a valid reason being given. Most employers have a punishment policy which includes verbal and written written warnings being issued prior to termination. We are disappointed in Cracker Barrels handling of the situation. Until this former employee is given justification for termination people will demand answers.

You have two possible paths ahead. Right now, I guarantee you that these athletes have more courage, compassion, brains and skill ― actually more of every positive human quality than you.
So take their path ― you could learn from them, and try to challenge yourself, to give back, to add something to the world. Or you can stay on your path, and keep being a sad pitiful jealous Internet troll who adds nothing to the world but mocks anyone who does out of small-minded jealousy.
I know that all you really want is attention, so let me be clear. If you choose to keep going this way, no one will ever remember you.
