OVERWATCH News: Overwatch Champions Clash underway in Hangzhou

The Overwatch Champions Series’ 2025 Champions Clash got underway Friday in Hangzhou, China.

Eight teams qualified for spots in the double-elimination bracket, with a champion to be crowned Sunday.

Team Falcons, Once Again, NTMR and Crazy Raccoon won their upper-bracket quarterfinal matches.

Falcons posted a 2-1 win against Al Qadsiah, sandwiching a 2-0 win on Lijiang Tower and a 141.84-7.66 victory on Runasapi around a 3-2 loss on Suravasa.

Once Again swept Virtus.pro: 2-0 on Lijiang Tower and 3-2 on Circuit Royal. NTMR swept Team CC: 2-0 on Ilios and 3-0 on Suravasa. Crazy Raccoon swept Spacestation Gaming: 2-0 on Ilios and 142.41-69.01 on Esperanca.

The action moved on to the lower bracket, where Virtus.pro’s 3-0 sweep eliminated Al Qadsiah and Spacestation Gaming’s 3-0 sweep knocked out Team CC.

The remaining matches are decided by the first to three wins, except for the grand final which is first to four. The prize pool is being crowdfunded, with 25 percent of the in-game cosmetic bundle revenue going toward the pool.

–NTMR vs. Crazy Raccoon (upper-bracket semifinals)
–Virtus.pro vs. TBD (lower-bracket quarterfinals)
–Spacestation Gaming vs. TBD (lower-bracket quarterfinals)
