Oregon ended a five-game losing streak with its 104-62 win over UC Davis on Saturday afternoon in Eugene, Ore., as the Ducks were in cruise control from start to finish.

All 11 players used by Oregon head coach Dana Altman scored in the Ducks’ romp, led by 21 points and nine assists from Jackson Shelstad and 18 points from Takai Simpkins. Kwame Evans Jr. finished with 14 points and 13 rebounds for Oregon (5-5).

Oregon opened up their largest lead until the waning moments when Ege Demir hit a layup to make it 71-23 with 14:13 to play. Demir, who last season played professionally in Turkey, finished with a career-high 15 points and 11 rebounds.

UC-Davis (5-4) got a team-leading 15 points from Carl Daugherty Jr. The Aggies were outrebounded 43-21 for the game and couldn’t overcome a frigid start to the game to lose for the third time in four games.

Oregon, which had not played in a week, didn’t have starting forward Devon Pryor available against the Aggies. Pryor is dealing with a groin injury and averages 4.3 points and 20.8 minutes per game.

The Ducks were able to give some rest to key players, including post player Nate Bittle, who is two games back from a leg injury. Bittle had four points in seven minutes of action.

Oregon reeled off the first 16 points as UC Davis missed its first seven shots. The Aggies didn’t score until Daugherty made a layup at the 13:34 mark.

The Ducks’ lead surged to 31-6 on Oleksandr Kobzystyi’s layup with 9:05 left in the half. It zoomed to 48-16 when Demir dunked a putback.

Shelstad’s steal and layup 28 seconds before halftime put Oregon ahead 52-16 — two of Shelstad’s 11 first-half points. UC-Davis finished 4 of 27 from the field (14.8%) in the first half.
