The Cardinal trailed by 12 midway through the second half, but stayed within striking distance and pulled within 70-66 on Ingram’s layup with 2:28 left.

The Cardinal trailed 39-34 at the break despite shooting 7 of 12 from 3-point range in the first half. Jones scored 12 points to lead all scorers.

Dante scored 10 points in the first half for Oregon.

Stanford, which began the day tied for ninth place in the Pac-12 standings, cut the deficit to 57-54 when Angel’s 3-pointer capped a 9-0 run with 6:48 remaining.
