Washington Spirit forward Civana Kuhlmann will miss the remainder of the 2023 season due to a knee injury, the club announced Wednesday.
The 24-year-old rookie sustained the injury during training last week. She played 304 minutes in 10 matches this season.
The Spirit drafted Kuhlmann with the 37th pick in January and signed her to a two-year contract that includes a team option for 2025.
Kuhlmann won two national titles at Stanford before transferring to Colorado, where she had 12 goals and six assists in 19 matches in 2022.
