Racing Louisville FC acquired midfielder Jordan Baggett from the Washington Spirit on Tuesday in exchange for a pair of draft picks.
The Spirit received Racing’s second-round pick in the 2024 NWSL Draft in addition to a conditional third-round selection in the 2025 NWSL Draft.
“We’re really ecstatic to have Jordan joining our club,” Racing general manager Ryan Dell said. “Jordan is a former top draft pick with plenty of league experience, and she’s also a great personality to add to our already-close locker room. As we prepare for upcoming absences on our roster with the World Cup this summer, adding a player of Jordan’s caliber to our midfield was a no-brainer.”
Baggett, 26, has recorded five goals in 35 career appearances (26 starts) since being selected by Washington with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2019 NWSL Draft.
“We greatly appreciate everything Jordan has contributed to this club,” Spirit coach Mark Parsons said. “It’s clear that she has left a positive impact in her four years here and we wish her all the best as she continues her professional career.”
