Gift Monday scored in the 63rd minute off an Orlando blunder as the visiting Washington Spirit beat the previously undefeated Pride 1-0 on Saturday.
Orlando goalkeeper Anna Moorhouse failed to clear the ball and Monday had a point-blank open net for her first goal of the season.
Aubrey Kingsbury made six saves for the Spirit (4-1-0, 12 points).
Orlando (4-1-0, 12 points) had 20 total shot attempts. The Pride compiled 11 goals across their first four matches.
San Diego Wave 4, Racing Louisville FC 1
Delphine Cascarino scored twice in a 17-minute span of the second half to put the finishing touches on the visiting Wave’s victory.
Kenza Dali scored on a free kick in the first half and Melanie Barcenas gave San Diego (2-2-1, 7 points) the lead less than 4 1/2 minutes into the second half. Cascarino also had an assist.
Ary Borges scored on a penalty kick in first-half extra time for Louisville (1-3-1, 4 points).
Bay FC 1, North Carolina Courage 0
Kiki Pickett scored from well outside the box on a blast in the 33rd minute and the goal held up for Bay FC at Cary, N.C.
Joelle Anderson assisted on the goal. Bay FC (2-2-1, 7 points) needed just one save from Jordan Silkowitz.
The Courage (0-3-2, 2 points) were shut out for the second time in three matches.
Kansas City Current 2, Houston Dash 0
Lo’eau LaBonta scored on a penalty kick in the first half and the Current went on to the home victory.
Kayla Sharples also scored for the Current (5-0-0, 15 points), with her goal in the 62nd minute assisted by Izzy Rodriguez. Lorena made two saves for the clean sheet.
The Dash (1-3-1, 4 points) had only five shot attempts (two on goal), to 15 for the Current (six on goal).
