Houston Dash forward Ryan Gareis signed an extension through the 2025 season, the team announced Friday.
As a rookie last season, Gareis recorded two assists in 15 appearances (six starts).
“Her potential is through the roof,” Dash general manager Alex Singer said in a news release. “The versatility she displayed in her rookie season was important for us, she stepped out of her comfort zone and played both as an outside back and a winger. Her attacking abilities and willingness to learn are qualities we look forward to seeing more of. She is a tremendous teammate with a very bright future.”
Gareis, 24, starred collegiately at South Carolina before being selected by Houston with the No. 44 pick in the 2022 NWSL Draft.
