On Tuesday night, the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) named popular celebrity singer Taylor Swift as the Songwriter-Artist of the Decade. The talented singer accepted the honor at the NSAI 2022 Nashville Songwriter Awards event conducted by NSAI at the historic Ryman Auditorium. She gave a long speech describing her creative process and more after thanking Bart and the NSAI.
Taylor Swift was grateful for the honor bestowed on her and gave a 13-minute long speech. She spoke about how she approached her songs and detailed the creative process which she broke down into three categories. She mentioned how she was re-recording her songs after the much-publicized masters dispute and about the extended version of the track All Too Well. It appeared on Red (Taylor’s Version), in 2021.
The young singer, who began writing songs at a young age, looked glamorous in a one-sleeved black sequined dress. It was designed by Michelle Kors and had a cutout at her stomach as well as a thigh high slit. Her accessories included Rahaminov Diamond Bar earrings as well as an Anne Sisteron ring. She completed the outfit by wearing open toed rhinestone heels.
The young singer, who has loads of talents from when she has been a teenager, was seen with her signature fringe in place and a low ponytail at the back. She wore her ubiquitous ruby red lipstick and used a smoky cateye liner for eye makeup.
Celebrity singer Taylor Swift has joined other iconic and legendary winners who have won the historic Songwriter of the Decade award from NSAI. They include Vince Gill (1990 to 1999) and Toby Keith (2000 to 2009).The newest award winner also delivered a performance that wowed the crowds and stamped Swift’s position as the Songwriter Artist of the Decade.
