Paige Bueckers poured in 26 points on 11-of-18 shooting as No. 8 Connecticut cruised to an 85-59 victory over Marquette on Tuesday night in Milwaukee.

Bueckers canned 4 of 5 3-pointers, including a half-court heave at the halftime buzzer. Ashlynn Shade supplied 15 points and Nika Muhl and KK Arnold each chipped in 13 for the Huskies (17-3, 9-0 Big East), who have downed the Golden Eagles twice during their 13-game winning streak. Aaliyah Edwards had 10 points and a game-high 12 boards.

Liza Karlen paced Marquette (15-4, 4-4) with 21 points and six rebounds. Mackenzie Hare netted 19 points, but the Golden Eagles still fell for the fourth time in seven games.

Marquette trailed 19-18 after the first quarter, due in large part to Bueckers having to get her left knee looked at early in the period. UConn then dropped 30 points on 12-of-17 shooting in the second, taking a 49-38 lead into the break before trotting to the finish.
