Hunter Dickinson scored 20 points and added 16 rebounds to lead No. 6 Kansas to a 67-57 win over No. 25 Oklahoma on Saturday in Norman, Okla.

The win snapped a four-game road losing streak for the Jayhawks (20-6, 8-5 Big 12).

The Sooners (18-8, 6-7) have dropped back-to-back games.

Kansas swept the two-game season series between the teams and has won seven consecutive matchups with Oklahoma.

Kevin McCullar Jr., the leading scorer in the Big 12, returned after missing Monday’s loss at Texas Tech due to a bone bruise in his knee.

McCullar had one of the biggest buckets of the game, just after teammate Dajuan Harris Jr. tied it on a 3-pointer.

KJ Adams Jr. grabbed the rebound on a missed Oklahoma 3-pointer and quickly pushed the ball upcourt.

He drove the lane, throwing it to McCullar for a corner 3-pointer that gave the Jayhawks their first lead since the first four-plus minutes of the game.

The back-to-back 3-pointers ignited a 17-4 run for Kansas, which led 60-50 with less than six minutes to play.

Kansas hit seven consecutive shots as part of the stretch.

While the Jayhawks surged offensively in the second half, the Sooners struggled.

Oklahoma shot just 18.2 percent from the floor (4 of 22) after the break. After hitting seven 3-pointers in the first half, the Sooners were just 1 of 11 from beyond the arc after halftime.

Jalon Moore led Oklahoma with 17 points and eight rebounds while Javian McCollum added 15 points and Milos Uzan had 11.

Oklahoma, on the day it honored longtime head coach Billy Tubbs at halftime, got off to a hot start, jumping to a 10-5 lead behind five points from Uzan in the first five minutes.

The Sooners ripped off a 17-7 run, capped by Le’Tre Darthard’s 3-pointer, to lead 34-23 with two minutes remaining in the first half.

But Oklahoma ended the half with three consecutive empty possessions and Kansas took advantage, scoring six straight points to cut the deficit to 34-29 by the break.

Johnny Furphy added 15 points for Kansas, while Harris scored 11 and McCullar added 10.

The Sooners were without two key rotation players — John Hugley IV and Rivaldo Soares.

Hugley (knee) missed his second consecutive game and Soares, whose scoring had surged of late, sat out after he sustained an ankle injury late in the Sooners’ loss at Baylor on Tuesday.
