Jaedon LeDee had 22 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks and No. 19 San Diego State ran away for a 73-41 victory over host Fresno State in a Mountain West Conference matchup Saturday night.
Jay Pal scored 14 points, Reese Waters scored 12 off the bench and Micah Parrish finished with 10 points for San Diego State (21-7, 10-5 MWC), which is a half-game behind first-place Utah State and Boise State.
Isaiah Hill scored 12 points and Xavier DuSell finished with 10 points to lead Fresno State (11-16, 4-10), which shot 24.6 percent from the floor while dropping its third straight game.
LeDee and Parrish each had five points as the Aztecs scored the first 12 points of the game.
The Bulldogs, meanwhile, missed their first five shots before Isaiah Pope hit a 3 with 15:12 left in the opening half.
Elijah Saunders hit another 3 for the Aztecs to extend the lead 19-4, and Miles Byrd followed with another basket from beyond the arc for a 22-4 advantage with 11:29 still left in the half.
Waters became the fifth different San Diego State player to hit a 3 in the first half when he made one to stretch the lead to 29-5 with 8:07 left.
Eight of the first nine shots taken by Fresno State were 3s, but the Bulldogs made just one.
LeDee sank a jump hook to stretch the lead to 40-10 with 2:22 left. The Aztecs took a 42-16 lead into the break after holding Fresno State to 6 for 25 from the floor, including 2 for 13 from 3-point range.
San Diego State made four of its first six 3-point attempts before finishing 5 for 15 at the half.
San Diego State gave up a 3-pointer to Pope to start the second half, but the Aztecs came back with an 8-0 run to expand the lead to 50-19.
