Adam Flagler scored 20 of his game-high 28 points in the second half to rally No. 14 Baylor to a 72-68 road win over No. 17 TCU in Big 12 play on Saturday at Fort Worth, Texas.

Flagler shot 9 of 16 from the field, including 5 of 10 from 3-point range, to go along with a team-high four assists. LJ Cryer shot 8 of 11 from the floor, including 4 of 6 from beyond the arc, to finish with 23 points for the Bears, who won for the ninth time in their past 10 games.

Baylor (19-6, 8-4 Big 12), which trailed by 10 with 9:13 left, shot 25 of 54 (46.3 percent) from the field, including 10 of 26 (38.5 percent) from 3-point range.

TCU (17-8, 6-6), which has dropped two of its past four games, was led by Damion Baugh, who had 16 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. JaKobe Coles added 15 points and five rebounds, while Emanuel Miller finished with 10 points.

The Horned Frogs shot 28 of 53 (52.8 percent) from the field, including an abysmal 2 of 10 from beyond the arc, in addition to outscoring the Bears 50-26 in the paint.

After Baylor tied the game 38 on Keyonte George’s layup with 17 minutes left, the Horned Frogs went on an 18-8 run to take a 56-46 lead on Xavier Cork’s two free throws with 9:13 to go.

But Baylor rallied behind Flagler, who accounted for the final 16 points of a 20-6 run that gave Baylor a 66-62 advantage following his jumper with 1:54 remaining.

After Langston Love’s layup pushed Baylor’s edge to 68-62 with 1:01 to play, Baugh followed a layup with a jumper that trimmed the Bears lead to 68-66 with 22.3 seconds left.

Cryer’s two free throws made it a four-point game with 19.2 seconds remaining before Baugh’s layup cut it to 70-68 with 10.7 to play.

Baylor turned the ball over almost immediately on its ensuing possession, but Baugh’s jumper from just outside the lane was off the mark with three seconds left.

Flagler’s two free throws secured the win.

Neither team led by more than six points in the first half, which ended with the Horned Frogs up 34-31.
