Pryce Sandfort scored 19 points as No. 13 Nebraska extended its school-record win streak to 17 games with an 86-55 win over New Hampshire in a nonconference game on Tuesday night in Lincoln, Neb.

The Cornhuskers (13-0) continued their best start in school history despite poor shooting from the perimeter. They were 5 of 23 (21.7%) from 3-point range but made up for it by going 22 of 36 (61.1%) inside the arc and 27 of 35 (77.1%) from the line.

Sandfort was one of four Nebraska players in double figures along with Braden Frager (15), Berke Buyuktuncel (14) and Rienk Mast (10) while Sam Hoiberg had eight points and a career-high 10 rebounds.

New Hampshire (4-9) got 17 points from Jack Graham and 11 from R.J. Kennedy. The Wildcats shot 32.1%, going 4 of 26 in the second half, including 0-for-15 from 3-point range after making 8 of 17 triple attempts in the first half.

Nebraska led 41-38 at the half but got that to double digits within five minutes, with an 11-0 run upping the margin to 56-42 with 13:55 left. New Hampshire didn’t make a field goal until the 9:59 mark of the second half, by which time they trailed by more than 20.

The Wildcats did not make consecutive shots over the final 21-plus minutes, having stretches of 12 and eight straight misses.

Nebraska had an early seven-point lead before New Hampshire caught fire from outside. The Wildcats made five 3-pointers in the first 10 minutes of the first half, including four in a two-minute stretch to build a 23-18 edge.

A jumper in the paint by Sandfort put the Cornhuskers back in front, part of four straight possessions where the lead changed hands, and a Sandfort 3 gave them a 37-32 lead with 3:34 left in the half.

New Hampshire got within a point late in the half on its eighth 3-pointer of the opening period.
