Hunter Dickinson scored a game-high 16 points and pulled down nine rebounds, Flory Bidunga posted his first career double-double and No. 12 Kansas overcame an early deficit for a 74-61 victory over TCU on Wednesday night in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Jayhawks (14-4, 5-2 Big 12) had three other players finish in double figures with Zeke Mayo’s 13 points, AJ Storr’s 12 and Shakeel Moore’s 11. Kansas shot 55.6 percent (30 of 54) from the field.

TCU (10-8, 3-4) got off to a strong start, leading by as many as 14 in the first half, but couldn’t maintain it throughout. The Frogs lost for just the second time this season at Schollmaier Arena. Noah Reynolds had a team-high 14 points and Vasean Allette finished with 13. TCU shot 37.9 percent (25 of 66) from the field.

The Frogs had a 26-12 lead midway through the first half, but the Jayhawks answered with an 8-0 run and eventually tied the game at 33 on Mayo’s jumper at the 1:34 mark. TCU regained a 35-33 lead by the break, but Kansas found its rhythm in the second half.

The Jayhawks took control with a 14-2 run over a five-plus minute stretch, turning a one-point deficit into a 61-50 lead with 7:13 left. Kansas’ run started with Storr’s stepback jumper and ended with his layup.

The stretch also included five straight points by Moore, who knocked down a 3-pointer and then had a steal and fast-break dunk on the next possession.

After TCU pulled to within 61-55, Moore drained another 3 with 5:01 left. The Jayhawks maintained a three-possession lead the rest of the way.

Bidunga, starting with KJ Adams (shoulder) sidelined, finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Kansas is now 27-4 in the all-time series against TCU and has won five of the past six meetings.

The Jayhawks return home for a matchup against No. 7 Houston on Saturday. TCU travels to UCF on Saturday.
