Andrew Carr scored 14 points in the first half and finished with three steals to help No. 10 Kentucky roll to an easy 88-54 victory over Brown on Tuesday afternoon in nonconference action at Lexington, Ky.

Otega Oweh had 13 points and four steals, Amari Williams recorded 13 points and three blocked shots, and Koby Brea also had 13 points as the Wildcats (11-2) bounced back from an 85-65 loss to Ohio State on Dec. 21 at New York.

Kino Lilly Jr. scored 16 points and Landon Lewis added 15 points and six rebounds for Brown, which committed 23 turnovers.

The loss was the second in a row for the Bears (7-5). They were routed 87-53 by then-No. 8 Kansas on Dec. 22.

The Wildcats shot 50 percent from the field, including 10 of 28 from 3-point range, and made just five turnovers. Kentucky held a commanding 33-4 edge in points off turnovers.

The Bears connected on 40.8 percent of their shots, including 5 of 21 from behind the arc. Lilly was 2 of 6 to increase his school record to 286 treys.

Kentucky led by 12 at halftime before Oweh scored the first five points of the second half and Williams followed with a basket to make the score 46-27.

The lead reached 20 for the first time when Williams hit a jumper to make it 50-30 with 16:24 to play.

Seven minutes later, Brandon Garrison drilled a 3-pointer to push the lead to 30 at 70-40. Lamont Butler’s tip-in and Brea’s 3-pointer made it a 35-point margin with 7:38 remaining.

Kentucky’s lead topped out at 36 points.

Carr’s strong first half guided the Wildcats to a 39-27 advantage at the break.

Carr had seven points during an early 11-1 burst that gave Kentucky a 15-7 lead.

With the margin being six with under eight minutes to go, Carr had five points during an 8-0 burst that gave the Wildcats a 30-16 lead with 4:53 left in the half.
