Nick Jonas, of the Jonas Brothers has returned to work after a bike accident. He shared the bruising experience while shooting for The Voice, NBC’s popular singing competition, on Monday. The new episode, on May 17, began with the show’s host Carson Daly asking Nick about the accident and he obliged with details.
At the beginning of the show Daly asked Nick how he was feeling, and the 28-year singer said that although he was ok, he had been better and that he’s doing alright. He then explained his injuries which included a cracked rib and a few more “bumps and bruises” that he sustained after falling off bis bike.
The Sucker singer also said that he may not be as physical enthusiastic in this episode, as he has been in the past and asked Blake Shelton, another popular song coach in The Voice not to make him laugh as laughing increased the hurt and pain he felt from his bruises.
Blake Shelton joked saying that Nick was looking for sympathy votes on the show and that what all that he was doing. So, Nick decided to play along and said that it was a big, elaborate plan of his,
Carson ended the ribbing between the two talented and competitive coaches who always looked to bring their teams to the top. He said that they were happy that Nick was alright, and they were glad that he was back on the show. He said that Nick’s presence as coach meant a lot to his team.
Nick replied by saying that he too was was glad to be there. He said that he was waiting impatiently to cheer for Team Nick as well as the other teams. He said that he was “really happy” that he was there on the show on Monday.
He didn’t provide further details about his accident but TMZ had reported that he was injured on Saturday, May 15. He was hospitalized for a day and returned home Sunday night to his wife Piggy Chops also known as Priyanka Chopra, a Hollywood and Bollywood actress, a singer, and a former Miss World (2000).
