On December 5, Nick Cannon lost his five-month old baby Zen to brain cancer. Model Alyssa Scott was the baby mother. On Monday, Cannon revealed that he is expecting his eight child with model Bre Tiesi, on his show, after pictures of the “gender reveal” party that took place on Saturday were leaked. Nick and Brie are expecting a boy. Scott said that she was at peace and that she looked at everyone’s predicament with loving eyes. She also graciously said, “I will not judge.”
Standing before an in-studio crowd, 41-year old Cannon shared tweets that made fun of him, as he was awaiting the arrival of an eighth child. Then he mentioned that he was in a “great space.” Later, he shared a picture of the baby shower in his “Pic of the Day” segment. In this segment Cannon also mentioned his deep love for all his children.
Cannon also said that he was excited to welcome a new addition to his family and added that he was aware of Tiesi’s pregnancy “for a while” much before the death of his son Zen. However, they didn’t expect Zen to pass away and he wanted to respect the grieving process with Alyssa.

The “Wild ‘N Out” host also mentioned that although Brie was a person who liked to be in the public eye, she held off the announcement as well posting about it on social media. He said that even till the weekend he had not expected to discuss it, but now it was in the open, after their celebrations on a beach in Malibu, California.
The “Drumline” star also spoke of people questioning his unconventional family and “unorthodox” lifestyle in the past has also said that he was a “father, first and foremost,” according to a story in PEOPLE, when he spoke to them in December.
The “Masked Singer” host also mentioned that though he felt guilty that he couldn’t spend a lot of time with his children due to his busy career, he believed in “quality” over “quantity” and mentioned the quality time he spent with his son Zen, who had passed away late last year. Cannon also said that he believed that “time” was a man made while “love and energy” was “godsend.”
