Marcus Johansson scored two goals and added an assist and the Minnesota Wild pulled away for a 6-3 win over the visiting Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday night in St. Paul, Minn.

Kirill Kaprizov added a goal and an assist for the Wild, who won their fourth in a row. Matt Boldy, Marcus Foligno and Ryan Hartman scored one goal apiece.

Alex DeBrincat had a goal and an assist for Detroit. Patrick Kane and Daniel Sprong also scored for the Red Wings, who have lost six of their past seven.

Wild goaltender Filip Gustavsson turned aside 25 of 28 shots to pick up the victory.

Red Wings goaltender James Reimer allowed six goals on 31 shots.

The score was tied at 2-2 when Minnesota erupted for three goals in a 2:07 span in the third period.

Hartman netted his 10th goal to give the Wild a 3-2 advantage with 15:25 remaining. He fired a wrist shot from the slot to finish a three-on-two rush.

Fifty-two seconds later, Foligno made it 4-2 with his fifth goal. He punched in a loose puck near the front of the net.

Johansson followed with his second goal of the game and his fourth of the season. That made it 5-2 for the Wild with 13:18 to play.

The Red Wings pulled within 5-3 with 12 minutes to go. Sprong scored his ninth goal on a wrist shot from the right circle.

Kaprizov capped the scoring with 5:45 left. It marked his fourth game in a row with a goal.

The Wild needed only 38 seconds after the opening faceoff to grab a 1-0 lead. Kaprizov slipped a pass toward the crease for Boldy, who buried a shot for his 10th goal.

Detroit evened the score at 1-1 less than six minutes later. Kane got a step behind Wild defenseman Zach Bogosian and scored on a wrist shot for his sixth goal in 11 games.

Minnesota regained a 2-1 advantage 1:37 into the second period. Reimer made a terrific save against Hartman but surrendered a long rebound, and Johansson capitalized with a shot from the slot.

At 2:43 of the third period, the Red Wings scored on the power play to make it 2-2. DeBrincat tallied his team-high 16th goal.
